It’s been a while, but after a few weeks of preparing, getting married, partying, and relaxing I’m back to reality. I quickly realized how much there is to do around the new place and take care of other business (find a job).
Unfortunately, the blog has suffered a bit in my absence. I’ve lost about 67% of my readers (went from 3 to 1) and the front page is stale. It’s also time to get some actual videos and pictures to go on the other pages.
I’m not too upset about being away. I was fortunate to go to Jamaica and Florida for our honeymoon. So, yeah. It’s hard to complain about that.

I was able to do a little bit of fishing. And by little, I mean casting for about 30-45 minutes. That’s okay though. With all the moving (we have a never-ending supply of crap) and cleaning we’ve been doing it’s only a matter of time before I snap and spend an entire day on the lake/river. I’m also looking forward to getting settled and tying some flies. I’ve lost a good bit due to moving and giving a few away (let me know if you want any).
I’m looking forward to getting back into some type of routine. My life for the past month has been incredibly different and out of whack. Here’s to some normalcy, good times with my new wife, and hopefully catch some fish.
Congrats on the marriage!
