I finally found myself back on the water. I’ve been splitting time on the Harpeth and Cumberland Rivers. The temperature was 57 degrees this morning, and the cooler waters seemed to bring in the bigger bass.

Yeah, that’s the biggest bass I’ve hooked recently on the fly. I’ve found that the bass in the Cumberland River really dig the Ghost Minnow. Tons of white buck-tail and wing ‘n flash pearl tends to get the bass biting. Also, its paid to have a deep sinking fly too.
Anyway, I’m keeping this post short. If you want a Ghost Clouser, or any color combo, let me know. For now, I need to replenish the fly box for the trip back to Alabama.
It feels good to be fishing again.
